Waiting for Pre Approval

Some of you know we began the paper chase last summer to adopt another "healthy infant girl" Well, God had other plans. In the process of the paperchase, we fell in love with a little boy on the Waiting Child List. We have named him Luke and he has a repaired cleft lip and unrepaired cleft palate. I tried to tell myself this made no sense. Luke was not the healthy little girl that we set out to adopt. Through much prayer it became clear to our whole family however, that this was the child the Lord intended us to have. He is our son and we can't wait to bring him home. Please keep him in your prayers. He has an appointment with the UCLA cranio facial team on March 15, 2005. It's our prayer that we'll be able to make that appointment!! God has given us such comfort and assurance as we take this step of faith
