HAPPY GOTCHA DAY TO LUKE!

One year ago today this little guy came bouncing into our family. He hasn't stopped bouncing! Lucas David Gividen puts a smile on every face he meets. Thank you Lord for leading us to AWAA's Waiting Child List and to a very special waiting child!

A Very Happy Mother's Day!

We spent Mother's Day weekend visiting my niece Bethany at Biola University and attending an adoption seminar hosted by AWAA. Emily Chapman, daughter of Steven Curtis Chapman, was our guest speaker. She did a fabulous job sharing from her heart her love for the world's orphans. She challenged all of us to answer God's call to visit and care for orphans and widows.

One Happy 4 Year Old!

Happy Birthday Luke!!!

Luke celebrated his 4th birthday on Sunday with the family. He totally knew what was going on. He came home right after his 3rd birthday last year, so he's seen everybody in the family have a birthday party but him!

It was a great day. What a difference a year makes.
