Care Package!

After one trip to KMart (hey......it's Tehachapi, what do you expect?) and searching in the closet for the biggest shoe box we could find........Linsey and I decided to make a package to send to Luke. She thought it was a great idea until I said she couldn't open the toy, it was for Luke. With that, she threw the toy plane across the room and said, "NO LUKE.....MY TOY!!" Gee........do you think it's time for the princess to make room for brother?? And yes, for those of you that think we're crazy bringing another 2 year old into the house, it's time like these that I think we are too. But, thankfully those thoughts don't last long and that "Peace that passes all understanding says I AM WITH YOU!"

So, for a mere $32 in shipping charges....we sent off our box of goodies. I know you're dying to know what's in the box so here goes....... 1 toy plane, 1 stuffed dog (that I stole from Linsey when she wasn't looking), a photo album with family pictures, a letter that we had translated in Cantonese (let's hope that's what he speaks!), 4 disposable cameras and a big bag of goldfish crackers. (Thanks Jill for pointing out that M&M's were WAY too heavy and why didn't I just give HER the bag!)

Praying for a log in date and a speedy travel approval!!! Oh by the way, it's official!!! My dad is going with Nick and I to China. Yiiiipeeeee!!!

EXACTLY what happened with ShaSha's little phone that we were recording a message onto (you can get them at Target). Imagine a two y.old brat laying on the floor, kicking, saying "phooooooone!!!!" Mhmmm...and we're going to have TWO two y.olds as well. Crazy parents. Sooo...we're off to Target to get another one, this time for the intended recipient (next care package). What do you DO with indulgent mothers??? Hugs to Linsey from Sophie!
