The Waiting Game

Just a note to say........We know nothing! :) We so appreciate your kindness, thoughts and prayers during this difficult waiting stage. Since many of you have told me you'd be checking the site, I figured I better at least give an update. We have an official LID (Log In Date) of 2/17/06. That means our dossier sat on somebody's desk for a few weeks before they entered it into their computer. We now are waiting for a TA (Travel Approval). That could come tomorrow, next month, or next summer. We really have no way of knowing. Things have come to a definite slow down at the CCAA (Chinese Center of Adoption Affairs).

We do have a specific prayer request though. There is a Travel Group scheduled to leave April 20, 2006. Please pray that my dad and I can be in that group to go get Luke! That would mean we'd need our TA pretty soon.

"Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit
is right along side helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making
prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps
us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good."

I know that God loves Luke more than I could ever imagine. I take comfort in that. We'll be there soon little Luke!
